Practicum Student

Viktor is a counseling intern at Cook Counseling Center. Also, he is a graduate student in the Counselor Education program at Virginia Tech. He has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Northwest University in Kirkland, Washington. Previously, he worked as a residential youth counselor where he strived to maintain a healthy environment for youth to thrive. With a collaborative approach, Viktor strives toward cultivating a safe and compassionate environment for the individuals to experience healing, growth, and change through the counseling process. His therapeutic orientation primarily draws from humanistic theories. Viktor is passionate about the personal and professional development of a counselor identity in developing skills and knowledge to provide quality service to individuals, groups, and families.
