Lauren Nehilla, B.S.
Lauren Nehilla is a clinical- counseling psychology student, who is completing her practicum at the Cook Counseling Center. She earned a B.A. in Psychology from Norwich University (Military College of Vermont), and is currently completing her M.S. in Clinical-Counseling Psychology form Radford University. Although Lauren’s theoretical approach is heavily influenced by existentialism and feminism, she seeks to develop an integrative approach that will provide an inviting and collaborative experience. While her professional interests continue to develop, her current focus is on trauma, transitional adjustment issues, depression, and crisis intervention. Her research focus is currently on military psychology, PTSD, resilience, and stress management. Due to her familial and social ties to the military, Lauren hopes to provide counseling to military personnel and their families in the future.
