Make a Referral to the Cook Counseling Center

Faculty and staff have important insight into the concerns of the students they come in contact with.  The Cook Counseling Center values this input and any referrals that you feel are appropriate to make.  These referrals have allowed students to access the services we provide at the Cook Counseling Center.

 

Please use the form provided to communicate your non-emergency referral.  As always, life threatening emergencies should be directed to the Virginia Tech Police Department at (540)231-6411.

Cook Counseling Center's Online Screening Module

Cook Counseling Center and Screening for Mental Health, Inc. offer free and anonymous online screening for depression, alcohol use, eating disorders, and anxiety. The online screenings are informational, not diagnostic, and treatment recommendations are not provided. Online screening is made available so that Virginia Tech students may find out whether consultation with a Cook Counseling Center counselor may be helpful.
