Attendance

Reaction Papers
ab1.gif (791 bytes) All reaction papers should be 2 - 3 pages in length and are due at the beginning of the class period on the due date.  Papers much be typed, double-spaced, and spell checked for errors.  They should be thoughtful, full-sentence responses, written at a college level.  Reaction papers not turned in on the due date may be turned in at the next class period for a maximum of one half the points.

In the action plan project, students will work with one partner, assigned by the instructors, to identify a topic that they feel is an issue within the Greek community and/or the Virginia Tech community.  Students will research the topic, create a plan for change, and present the plan to the class.  This project will have two components: a written component including the topic proposal, literature review, and action plan, and an oral component, the presentation.

Extra Credit
ab1.gif (791 bytes) A variety of opportunities for extra credit will be given throughout the semester.   Students who attend these activities will be asked to write a summary of their experience.  More details will be provided when the events are announced.
