Staff Meeting / Case Conference / Staff Development

Counseling Center senior staff and interns meet for a two hour weekly staff meeting. The first hour is allotted to discuss university and CCC administrative issues. In the second hour staff divide into smaller teams for case conference discussion during which staff present and discuss cases for which they wish clinical feedback and direction.

Staff, interns, and invited speakers provide periodic staff development training in areas of professional interest. Interns are expected to develop and present one staff development seminar over the course of the training year.

All clinical staff meet for 1 hour per week as well for an additional case conference during which clients that may be in need of coordination of services within and across university departments may be discussed.
