- Limited multicultural experience

4. Does our web site provide adequate information regarding our program? Please explain.
- Very informative and very detailed. The information prepared me well for my interview experience.
- Very comprehensive
- Good explanation of service and training activities
- Overall the info was vast and helpful, but maneuvering around was difficult.
- The feedback from interns and past applicants was most helpful.

5. (If applicable) Did the telephone interview provide you adequate opportunity to demonstrate your strengths and unique abilities? Please explain.
- Yes. The staff is extremely friendly and asked questions that really allowed me to show them myself both professionally and personally.
6. Given a choice, would you prefer an on site interview or do you believe a telephone interview format is adequate?
- On site interview is necessary to get the full effect of the site. It was a pleasure to meet your friendly faculty and interns in person.
- On site for my benefit in order to get a better feel for center and staff. I feel that the telephone interview was adequate for me to give the VA Tech staff a sense of me.
- On site. I prefer to view my possible placement site.
7. Based on your review of our materials and interactions with our staff how well do you believe our program meets the needs of individually and culturally diverse groups?
- I believe that Virginia Tech's program strives to meet the needs of these populations. You appear to be limited only by the student population.
- Program's focus on diversity appears outstanding
- Poor for culturally diverse groups
- Extremely well - one of the reasons I chose VA Tech's program to apply to
- Very well!
- I think it does, however, given the population of the university and Blacksburg, it's difficult to see in practice.
8. Other comments are welcome about any aspect of the Cook Counseling Center intern recruitment process:
- During my interview experience, I greatly enjoyed having the opportunity to meet with all of your interns in an informal setting prior to my interviews. This time was informative, enjoyable, and relaxing. Thank you for making me feel so welcome at your site.
- It was a pleasure interviewing at your site. You all made me feel very welcome. Thanks!
- Need to increase the pay in order to compete with other internships
- Teresa was great in helping me coordinate the interview process. She was friendly and flexible and made the process much easier for me.
- The staff I interviewed with also did a great job of giving me a sense of the program without having to visit the site. My interview experience made me feel much more comfortable with ranking the site without having seen it
- Enjoyed lunch with the interns as well as the tour of the campus.
- During my visit the staff was open and honest. I appreciated the hospitality. The Counseling Center staff seems like a close group and it appears that they provide a supportive environment.
