Pre-Doctoral Internship in Counseling and Clinical Psychology
Accreditation
The Counseling Center's Pre-doctoral Internship Program is Fully Accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA). The program was initially accredited in 1997 and is due for a re-accreditation site visit in 2014.
International Association of Counseling Services (IACS) re-accreditation has been applied for and a site visit is expected during the 2009-2010 academic year.
The Counseling Center is also a participating member of the Association of Psychology Postdoctoral and Internship Centers (APPIC), the Association of University and College Counseling Center Directors (AUCCCD), and the Association of Counseling Center Training Agencies (ACCTA).
Schiffert Health Center is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC).
